Morning meals can make your day…

In the February 2007 issue of Everyday with Rachael Ray , the cover focuses on meals that will help you start your day off right, but don’t let that fool you. Rachael serves up 59 recipes and 100 cooking/food prep tips. She discusses chocolate ratings, the best chips EVER, and has several recipes in this issue tailored toward Asian food in honor of the Chinese New Year. As always, you can quickly jump to any recipe by looking in the very back of each issue, there you will find a full Recipe Index.

One product review on page 46 for Waffle Irons really caught my eye. Not because I am obsessed with Waffle Irons, but that the article reminded me of my favorite day that I spend with my wife. It’s at least once a month and usually on a Sunday morning; a tradition is developing where I get up early to make her waffles.  I have been notorious for experimenting (to her this isn’t always a good thing) and recently threw together some waffles to die for, so I wanted to share my own recipe with you. Your kids will love them and they make the house smell wonderful.

MISSING TIME MAGAZINE ISSUES

January 15th Time Magazine If you are wondering why you had some missing issues of Time Magazine in January it is because the publishers had paused all subscriptions while they changed up its format.

According to their website you should have received the first one for 2007 on the 15th, basically they skipped the 1st and the 8th. If you have not been receiving Time since the beginning of the year, please contact us immediately here.

We are still waiting on details as to how you will be compensated for the temporary lapse…I should have that information included in the next newsletter.

Teen Speak over IM!

The March issue of Family Circle includes several in depth discussions about family dynamics related to tweens and teens. I could especially identify with the teen IM cheat sheet. If you need help translating their Instant Message and cell phone text message short hand, Family Circle has the 411 on how to understand the following cryptic language.

I’ve btdt and won’t be cts. So dwai because I’m focl. A pos is such a nuisance when your young, and I hiwth. Make me laugh and ymmd. Expect a gbh.

FamilyCircle_2-07

Don’t be a pos (parent over shoulder), your teen will trust you more. Get Family Circle today and understand your teen’s world a little better. At 15 issues for $15.00, it’s hard to go wrong with the 15th most popular reception room title in our catalog.

ADDTIONAL RESOURCES

What are Blogs and how can they affect your business positively or negatively?

I just finished reading this book about four weeks ago. All I have to say is “Awesome book!” The Internet is changing so fast these days it is so difficult to keep up, especially if you are a smaller business and wondering how you can use the Web to your advantage.

Citizen Marketers totally sums up and explains why there is so much buzz about blogs what online social networking is all about. Jackie Huba and Ben McConnell do an excellent job of showing how the new Internet paradigm is leveling the marketing playing field between consumers, small business and large business.

I read about 3-4 books a month and I would say that this is hands down one of the most informative and inspiring I have read over the past four months. The authors did a great job of simplifying the technical jargon and included some amazing stories how powerful one person or a small group of people can become using the Internet. If you need a taste, you can check out their blog here - http://www.churchofthecustomer.com/

AS A MATTER OF FACT

Survey Results!

I want to thank everyone for participating in the 2006 Year End Survey. Your feedback is appreciated more that you may realize.  I wanted to take the opportunity to share the conglomerate feedback. If you haven’t taken the survey go here , I have extended its promotion expire date until the end of March so that others have an opportunity to get another $5 off. The extra Executive Scissor Set incentive has now been removed being that the winners have already been chosen. I will also be adding a new promotion on the next email newsletter, so keep your eyes peeled for it.

Here are the results…
