According to Folio Magazine, Condé Nast has decided to discontinue Home & Garden magazine (for a second time actually). I didn’t know this, but Home and Garden had been around since 1911 and was previously discontinued in 1993.
Then in 1995 House & Garden was brought back from the dead. Unfortunately, this may be the last time we see this publication ever again, but you never know. The last issue will be December 2007.

This is a shame, what in the world is going to entertain me in the grocery shopping checkout line now?
What’s up with all of these publications going under? I believe the publishing industry is just cleaning house in an effort to become more profitable. Although I will miss Bat Boy, Big Foot, The 50 Pound newborn and all those End of the World predictions that change every year when they don’t come true.
